Mike Larkins: Drums & Percussion

Handling drums and percussion for Clockwerk, New Orleans' hottest new cover band, is Michael Larkins. Mike has been the bottom line in drums and percussion in the Big Easy for over 20 years. Born and raised in the Crescent City, this self-taught musician has performed with some of the best entertainers in the area, doing both live shows, session work and recording. As part of Perfect Strangers, Mike kept the beat for this local cover band. In Mink, a driving rock group, his sounds were reminicent of greats such as Ginger Baker and John Bonham. An original member of Irene & the Mikes, Larkins laid down the groove that kept New Orleans coming back week after week for years at all the best haunts the French Quarter has to offer.
